Interactive media design and multimedia & visual communications are in-demand fields that bring together creativity and technical skills. Students enrolled in this program follow a project-based curriculum designed to begin developing skills in the area of web design and development. Students will explore web programming languages through the use of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and XML. The use of Adobe Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver will allow students to create web pages that are interactive and dynamic with appropriate graphics and animation. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in Business Professionals of America (BPA) and related competitions. Students who successfully complete this program can also earn Delta College credits.
