High School Program at Northwood University

The restaurant and food service industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the country with many jobs in high-paying, management positions.

Designed to teach management and culinary skills to high-school seniors, students learn techniques that prepare them for employment in hotels, restaurants, institutions and resorts. Concepts such as customer relations, accounting, food-cost controls and marketing are not offered in traditional programs. This industry-based curriculum gives students a glimpse of both the culinary and business skills that the industry professionals use daily.
