High School Program at Davenport University

We live in the “digital age” and the need for qualified Information Technology (IT) professionals is clear. Students enrolled in this course will learn the
functionality of hardware and software components, maintenance and troubleshooting, basic CISCO network fundamental skills, information and network security operations, backup procedures and remote access. If students want to pursue this career after taking the two-hour course, they simply take the
A+ and Security+ certification exams. Davenport offers up to 37 articulated credits for students completing this program.

Cisco CCNA 1 – Network Fundamentals
Security Foundations
IT Essentials II: Network Operating Systems
Cisco CCNA 2 – Router IOS
Implementing Security: Security+
