Marketing gives students the opportunity to be entrepreneurs-in-training through exploration of the retailing, sales, and finance industries. All aspects of retailing are learned as a store owner and operator. Effective selling is learned by students becoming vendors for their own company and exploring their
creative side through merchandising, advertising, packaging, and branding. Practical experience is gained through the operations of the school store.
Students are encouraged to join DECA, an Association of Marketing students. DECA provides students with opportunities to travel, network, and develop
technical and leadership skills.
