Earn industry certification while you check out a career in welding with the Welding Technology program. Welders are employed in a wide variety of manufacturing and construction jobs as pipe layers, pipe fitters, aircraft structure assemblers, ship builders, fabricators and iron workers. Students enrolled in
Welding Technology will learn oxy-fuel welding, brazing, cutting, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), SMAW (stick welding) and pipe welding. With these skills, you
could help build skyscrapers, bridges, ships, boilers, pipelines and appliances – pretty cool.
